The new Buxom Waterproof Smoky Eye Sticks ($18 each) make me wanna holla ROAD TRIP! Buxom designed the long-wearing shadows to line and shade eyes in wink. I tried three of the 8 colors, Bow & Pointer (a shimmery night dark-green), Nunchucks (a shimmery blue blackness) and Silvery Sword (a smokey graysish black), and, using the new Smoky Eye Brush ($17), followed "The Buxom Method" tutorial included with the production.

The Buxom Method

1. Gently castor the Smoky Eye Brush confronting the center stick tip, then sweep color dorsum and forth on the chapeau almost the lash line and into crease.
2. Line the lash line with the pointed tip.
3. Soften the edges with castor to get down and smoky.

All three resist water well, only I had a hard time blending out the edges, and when I tried layering I got patchy and uneven color. The castor feels scratchy against my skin, likewise.

Although I like the cheeky names, streamlined packaging and the long vesture time, I think in that location's some room for improvement. If Buxom could find a way to smooth out the shadows and make them easier to blend, these piddling sticks could become gems worthy of your next large trip.
